Farsha Cafe is a popular spot to grab a drink and some shisha whilst in Sharm el Sheik - but is it worth the hype?!

We arrived at 16:30, the sunset was scheduled for 17:00. This seemed like a good time to get there as we had no trouble entering with Leo, there were still lots of seats spare. Around 15 minutes later lots of buses arrived with people who must have booked tours and it got a lot more busy.

To get down to the cafe there are lots of steps, definitely not a place to bring a pram, and not an easy place to access for anyone with mobility issues.

The view over the sea mixed with the intricate decor makes for a unique place to relax. The music and vibe are vibrant and chilled out. The staff are very attentive. I’ve never been anywhere quite like it.

💰Prices are reasonable. To give you an idea - it was £1.10 for soft drinks, £1.10 for mint tea, £1.40 for a cappuccino, £2.50 for a milkshake, £2.50 for a beer, £4.20 for a huge mojito.

We stayed until around 19:00. It seemed to be getting a lot more lively around then. The place is beautiful when the lights all come on so definitely worth staying for that.

Overall definitely worth a visit and I would say worth the hype. A memorable evening without having to spend a fortune.

Would you visit Egypt right now?

We visited Sharm el Sheikh in February and enjoyed lovely hot days, some AMAZING snorkelling, great food, hospitality and found lots of things to do.

Lots of people ask us “but is it safe?!” - The short answer is that the FCDO currently don’t have any advisories about travelling there from the UK. The longer answer can be found in a blog post I’ve just posted. You can find it in the blog section of our website or linked in our link tree ✨

I was feeling a little self conscious about filming this intro in my bikini. I’ve gained a lot more weight than is apparently recommended, and like many pregnant women I wasn’t feeling my best 😅 But I realise how lucky I am to be in this position, and every change in my body has been to create this tiny little life that we never thought would be possible. I know in a few years time I will look back at this video and think what I would give to be in that position again 🙏🏻 Pregnant bodies are beautiful and don’t need to be hidden away. I’m very realistic that we won’t be able to afford to go down the IVF route again so this is probably my last pregnancy.

Travelling when pregnant has been wonderful, a bit of preparation and caution is all that is needed.

Have you travelled whilst pregnant? How many weeks were you?!

Day 1 of our 17 night trip to the Algarve and Porto 🇵🇹✈️

We visit the Algarve often as João is from here - the poor lad unfortunately left this sunny paradise for Nottinghamshire to be with me ✨ We are looking to move back here as soon as we can escape our mortgage..

Anyway, Alvor is honestly such a perfect place for a holiday. If you’re considering the Algarve look into Alvor or Portimão. I’ll do more videos on here later in the trip. The weather stays great into September and October, so it is the perfect place for a post summer escape. ☀️
