Five reasons to visit Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is such a brilliant mix of culture and modern comforts. You can visit the stunning Sheikh Zayed Mosque, chill on lovely beaches, or treat yourself to some seriously good food and shopping. It’s a lot more chilled than Dubai, which makes it perfect if you’re after a more relaxed vibe. And with sunshine pretty much all year round, it’s a great spot for a break whenever you fancy one.

FAQs
The best time to visit Abu Dhabi is between November and March. During these months, the weather is cooler and more comfortable, with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 30°C. This is ideal for outdoor activities, sightseeing, and enjoying the city’s beautiful beaches. Additionally, many cultural events and festivals take place during this period, enhancing your travel experience.
Visa requirements for entering Abu Dhabi vary depending on your nationality. Many travelers from countries such as the United States, the UK, and EU member states can obtain a visa on arrival for stays of up to 30 days. However, citizens from some countries may need to apply for a visa in advance. It’s essential to check the latest visa regulations on the official UAE government website or consult your local embassy before traveling to ensure a smooth entry.
The currency used in Abu Dhabi is the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED). The exchange rate is generally favorable, and you can easily exchange your currency at banks, exchange offices, or hotels. Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in most establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and shops. However, it’s advisable to carry some cash for smaller purchases, especially in local markets or when using public transportation.
Yes, Abu Dhabi has a reliable and efficient public transportation system. The Abu Dhabi Bus service connects major attractions, neighborhoods, and shopping areas, making it easy to navigate the city. Buses are air-conditioned and comfortable, with routes that cover most of the city. Taxis are also readily available and are a convenient option for getting around. For a unique experience, consider using the Abu Dhabi Water Taxi service, which offers scenic views of the city from the water.
While Abu Dhabi is a modern city, it’s important to respect local customs and dress modestly, especially in public places and religious sites. Light, loose-fitting clothing is recommended to stay comfortable in the warm climate. Swimwear is appropriate at beaches, pools, and resorts, but it’s advisable to cover up when leaving these areas. When visiting mosques or other religious sites, women should wear long sleeves and cover their hair, while men should avoid wearing shorts. Following these guidelines will help you enjoy your visit while respecting the local culture.

When we started posting our travels on social media, over 4 years ago, we were met with so much hate.
“Selfish parents forcing their kids to travel”
“They are too young to remember”
“That poor baby…”
We received the above comments often. Within 4 years we have seen such a huge shift in perception. We rarely get those comments anymore, we get so many people saying we gave them the motivation to start travelling with little ones themselves. People often say how do you go from being a doctor and helping so many people, to being a content creator… but I genuinely think I help more people now 😅
This video was taken during our PR trip to Yas Island visiting their SeaWorld.

When you’ve dreamed of Sky Diving “since you were two years old”… this is naturally a big day for a tiny guy 😆
When we arrived at @clymbyasisland we were told Leo possibly couldn’t do it as there may not be a helmet small enough… luckily for him he inherited my big head ❤️ Sky diving is all he’s spoken about since we arrived in Abu Dhabi, and him not being able to do it would have broken his little heart. He sat through the briefing and listened so carefully so that he got it right.
We couldn’t believe how brave he was, not one ounce of fear as he rushed in there first. A huge smile never left his face. He did a lot better than I did too 🤣
When he came out he said “mummy this is the best day of my life” 🥲❤️
This experience was part of our PR trip to @yasisland

Day 1 of our 17 night trip to the Algarve and Porto 🇵🇹✈️
We visit the Algarve often as João is from here - the poor lad unfortunately left this sunny paradise for Nottinghamshire to be with me ✨ We are looking to move back here as soon as we can escape our mortgage..
Anyway, Alvor is honestly such a perfect place for a holiday. If you’re considering the Algarve look into Alvor or Portimão. I’ll do more videos on here later in the trip. The weather stays great into September and October, so it is the perfect place for a post summer escape. ☀️
