Billund is an amazing place for a family short break. Flights are often well priced and the Lego Hotel there is cheaper than the one in Windsor. As well as Legoland you can also enjoy many other family attractions like Wow park, Lalandia and Lego House.

It is known as being the home of Lego and the first Legoland theme park.
It depends what you plan to do there. Legoland, Lego House, Lalandia and Wow Park are all great attractions worth visiting. Legoland ideally needs two days to do everything, the other attractions can be done with a full day each.
Absolutely. There are lots of fun, interactive activities and the ‘Mini Chef’ restaurant there is brilliant (see instagram reel below!)
Both parks are great, but we personally preferred Billund. Read our blog post for more information on why.

It’s so much more than just LEGOLAND!
Billund in Denmark is the perfect destination for a family short break. The LEGO hotel is cheaper than the one in Windsor and honestly, the park is SO much better.
We spent two days in LEGOLAND which was just enough, however you CAN NOT miss Lego House, WOW park and a trip to lalandia.

Is this the coolest restaurant?!
For our Lego loving son it absolutely is!
Located in Lego House in Billund Denmark, this restaurant is definitely unique. You can eat here without paying for admission to Lego House, but you should definitely check it out if you have time, our son enjoyed Lego House more than Legoland!
Two adult meals, a kids meal, 3 beers and a coke was £85 - pricey, but a really unique experience!

Have you been to both parks?! Which did you prefer? PR visit
Both of these Legoland parks are brilliant but we REALLY enjoyed Billund. The queues were much better, prices at the park were cheaper and the park just felt more well structured. I’ll be posting lots more about it this week.
We stayed at the Lego hotel and visited Lalandia, Lego house and Wow park during the trip. Highly recommend for a family short break!

The Algarve has arguably one of the most beautiful coastlines in Europe. If it’s dramatic cliffs, blue sea and year round sun weren’t enough, the Algarve has amazing seafood, great wines and lots of quaint little towns to explore.

Anyway, Alvor is honestly such a perfect place for a holiday. If you’re considering the Algarve look into Alvor or Portimão. I’ll do more videos on here later in the trip. The weather stays great into September and October, so it is the perfect place for a post summer escape. ☀️
