Bike rentals are popular for exploring coastal paths and scenic routes. Guided tours are also available for key attractions and excursions.

Lanzarote is a year-round destination thanks to its mild climate. The best time to visit depends on your preferences. Winter offers pleasant temperatures, making it perfect for outdoor activities and escaping colder climates. Spring and Autumn provide warm weather and fewer crowds, ideal for beach days and sightseeing. Summer (June to August) is hotter and busier.

Lanzarote’s cuisine is a treat for food lovers. Try papas arrugadas, small wrinkled potatoes served with mojo sauce. Fresh seafood is a staple, with dishes like grilled octopus and fish stews being popular. Sample local cheeses, particularly goat cheese, which is a specialty. Gofio, a type of toasted flour, is often used in traditional dishes. Don’t miss tasting local wines from the island’s unique volcanic vineyards, especially the Malvasía variety.

Absolutely, Lanzarote is very family-friendly. The island offers numerous activities for children and adults alike. Beaches like Playa Blanca and Playa de Famara are great for families, with calm waters and plenty of amenities. The Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park combines a zoo and water park, providing a full day of entertainment. Timanfaya National Park offers educational and fun experiences for kids. Unpopular opinion - but babies aren’t the worst encounter you could have in upper class….

I feel like I am on my own when I say this, but upper/business class is very overrated. People told me I’d never want to go back to economy, but luckily for me, I’m much more of an economy girl at heart. I did another business flight shortly after this in the Q Suite with Qatar, and I got the sh*t’s from their lobster mac and cheese - that was the nail in the coffin for my brief encounter with the boujee life 🫡
