Best Hotels in Spain for Large Families
Best Hotels in Spain for Large Families (With 2 Bedroom Apartments & Family Suites)
Finding a hotel in Spain that works for a large family can be surprisingly difficult. Once you’re travelling with three or more children, many “Family rooms” just don’t offer the space you need.
For families, having a little extra space can make a huge difference. Whether you have toddlers who need an earlier bedtime, older children who want their own space, or simply want somewhere to relax after a day at the beach, a two-bedroom apartment or spacious family suite can make your holiday much more comfortable.
The good news is that Spain has some fantastic family-friendly resorts offering two-bedroom apartments, separate bedrooms and accommodation designed for larger families. From beachfront resorts on the Costa del Sol to activity-packed family parks on the Costa Blanca and Costa Dorada, there are plenty of options for families of 5, 6 or more.

Final Thoughts on Hotels in Spain for Large Families
Finding the right accommodation is often the biggest challenge when planning a holiday for a large family, but thankfully there are plenty of fantastic hotels and resorts across mainland Spain offering spacious two-bedroom apartments and family suites. Whether you’re looking for a beachfront escape on the Costa del Sol, a fun-filled resort on the Costa Blanca or a family-friendly base on the Costa Dorada, there’s no need to compromise on comfort or space.
If you’d like even more comfort, you might also want to consider hotels with two bedrooms and two bathrooms – they’re ideal for larger families who want a little extra privacy and convenience. You’ll find lots of recommendations in our Hotels for Large Families in Europe Guide.
If you can’t find a hotel that suits your family, it’s also worth considering a villa. Villas can often offer even more space, multiple bedrooms, private pools and fully equipped kitchens, making them an excellent choice for larger families or those travelling with grandparents or extended family. They can also provide great value, especially when the cost is shared between several people.
Whichever type of accommodation you choose, planning ahead and booking early will give you the best chance of securing the perfect place for your next family holiday in Spain.

I need to know what you people are thinking when you turn around 50 times giving us evil looks, or when you have the audacity to actually tap me 😆😭 I can tell him to be quiet 1000 times and he will just get louder, trust me, I’ve tried it 😂
I regret not asking the lady, I’ll lose sleep about it for the next 10 years I’m sure - I pray she might see this and let me know 🤣

Decent alternative tbf
I didn’t realise this was a problem until my dad side eyed me
Come on, something is going to fall through the net if I’m booking EVERYTHING
No one’s died yet
Are we all bathing our kids daily? 👀
Do as I say, not as I do, when it comes to travelling with kids this summer 😬 #travelexpert #lolz
