Yes! The Dalaman region has plenty of sandy beaches, and many are ideal for little ones. Sarıgerme is a big favourite for families, with soft golden sand, shallow waters, and space to run and play. You’ll also find a mix of pebbly and sandy stretches all along the coast, so beach shoes can come in handy just in case!
Definitely! While the town of Dalaman itself is more low-key, the surrounding area is packed with family-friendly things to see and do. You’ve got boat trips, natural mud baths, turtle spotting in Dalyan, waterparks, ancient ruins, buzzing markets, and gorgeous seaside towns like Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, and Gocek all within easy reach. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.
Yes – the sea is lovely and warm, especially from late May through October. By mid-summer, the water is perfect for swimming, paddling, and all kinds of water fun. Great for kids who don’t love chilly dips!

One of the best things about this area is the short transfer times! Dalaman Airport is super close to many popular resorts – around 15-20 minutes to Sarıgerme, 45 minutes to Fethiye, and just over an hour to places like Ölüdeniz and Dalyan. Ideal when you’re travelling with little ones and want to get to the pool as quickly as possible!
