Yes! Despite its chic reputation, Paris has lots of playgrounds, parks, child-friendly museums, and easy transport options. Many attractions offer special family or children’s activities.
The Metro is quick and easy, even with children. Buses are stroller-friendly, and walking is often the nicest way to explore neighbourhoods. Boat cruises are also a fun way to see the city.
Eiffel Tower, Jardin du Luxembourg, Jardin des Plantes, Disneyland Paris (easily reached by train), the Natural History Museum, Tuileries Garden playground, and Seine river cruises.
Yes – tourist areas are generally safe. As with any big city, keep belongings close and avoid deserted areas late at night.
Plenty – parks, playgrounds, river walks, window shopping, free museum days, and visiting neighbourhoods like Montmartre or Le Marais are all great for families.
