Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi
Everything you need to know
Warner Bros World in Abu Dhabi is a huge indoor family theme park which transports visitors into the world of their favourite characters from DC Comics, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera and more. As adults, we were really excited to revisit a lot of our favourite childhood cartoons like Scooby Doo and the Flintstones!
Located on Yas Island, this fully air-conditioned theme park is perfect for a family day out. In this guide, we’ll dive into everything you need to know about Warner Bros World, including practical tips, ticket prices and our favourite things to do there.
Getting to Warner Bros World
Yas Island is located around 10-15 minutes by car from Abu Dhabi International Airport, making the transfer quick and stress-free. Once at your hotel there are lots of easy ways to get to Warner Bros World.
Walk
We stayed at the Warner Bros Hotel which is right across from the theme park. If you are looking to plan a special trip I cannot rate this hotel enough. The location is perfect and everything about the hotel is pure luxury. For more information and help planning a trip, have a read of our Yas Island blog.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available and the fare to many attractions from a Yas Island hotel is around £2.50 per journey, making it an ideal option for families who want flexibility when moving around. We ended up getting Taxis to the theme parks as we were too hot to wait for the bus!
Yas Express
The Yas express is a free shuttle bus that runs around the island stopping at all the popular attractions.

How long does it take to see Warner Bros World in Abu Dhabi?
We arrived at 10am and stayed until around 4:30pm. The queues were minimal so we got to go on everything. You will definitely have time to do most things with a day visit there.
Warner Bros World Ticket Prices:
As I discuss in our Yas Island blog post, you can save a lot of money by booking a hotel with theme park tickets included. If you are staying 4 nights in one of these hotels, you will get 4 days worth of park tickets for everyone. These can be used at any of the Yas Island theme parks.
General Admission: Tickets are cheaper when bought online as opposed to purchasing at the gate. It is 345 AED for those over 1.1m when bought online (around £70)
Junior Tickets: For children below 1.1 meters, tickets cost around 275 AED (approximately £56).
Multi Park Pass: If you plan to visit other theme parks, you can save a lot of money by purchasing a multi park pass. It is 475 AED (around £97) for two parks, 575 AED (around £117) for three and 675 AED (around £138) for all 4.
Free Entry for Yas Island Hotel Guests: If you’re staying at a Yas Island hotel, you can receive one free park ticket for each night of your stay with their “stay and play” offer.

Tips for Visiting Warner Bros World
A day at Warner Bros World can be packed with fun and excitement, with a little planning you can ensure that your family has a smooth and memorable experience. Here are some tips:
1. Arrive early
While the park opens at 10am or 11am, it’s wise to arrive a little before the gates open. This allows you to beat the crowds and head straight to your favourite rides, especially if you want to avoid queues for popular attractions. Saying that, the queues are never comparable to the types of queues we often experience in European parks. We didn’t see a queue longer than 20 minutes whilst there.
2. Prioritise rides for younger kids first
If you’re visiting with younger children, it’s a good idea to hit the age appropriate rides early in the day. Areas like Cartoon Junction are perfect for young families, offering gentler rides and character meet-and-greets that tend to get busier later on in the day. When we arrived at Cartoon Junction there was nobody there and our kids could go on all the rides fairly quickly. There is a soft play there but bizarrely you have to be 1.1m to go to the top and use the slides.
3. Know your child’s height first
We hyped up a lot of rides not realising Leo couldn’t go on them. At European parks he always gets on the 1.1m rides, but for whatever reason he was only 1.08m in Abu Dhabi! At many of the parks we have been to the staff will shrug off a cm or two and let him on, but at all the parks we visited on Yas Island they were very strict (even making him take his shoes off at times to measure him). The height requirements on the map aren’t all accurate, a lot of the 90cm rides were actually 85cm when we got to the queue. This worked out well for my nephew who is just under 90cm.
4. There is a ‘flash pass’ you can purchase separately
The flash pass (fast pass) works out at around £31 and can be used on all the rides as many times as you want. I wouldn’t commit to this before seeing how busy it is. We had them during our visit but the normal queues were never big enough to justify the price. I understand it does get a lot busier during school holidays and the formula 1 season, so it may be something you want to consider to make the most of your day.
5. You can’t bring your own food and drink
Warner Bros. World doesn’t allow you to bring your own food and drink, which is something we would usually do to save money. There are lots of places you can eat, I will discuss these further down along with some price examples.
Themed Lands and Attractions at Warner Bros World
Warner Bros. World is divided into six immersive themed lands, each bringing to life some of the most iconic characters and settings from the Warner Bros. universe. Here’s a breakdown of our favourite attractions in each area.
Gotham City
Stepping into the dark streets of Gotham City, home to Batman, is really exciting for any superhero loving kid. The rides here are more suitable for older children and adults, but thats not to say little ones wont enjoy walking around, playing some carnival games and seeing Batman himself make an appearance!
Batman: Knight Flight
One of the park’s more intense rides, this 4D flying theater ride simulates a flight through Gotham alongside Batman. The minimum height requirement is 1.2 meters, making it ideal for older kids and teens.
Riddler Revolution
This spinning roller coaster style ride is lots of fun for thrill-seekers, but it has a minimum height requirement of 1.2 meters.
Scarecrow Scare Raid
This spinning ride was definitely not for me. It has a minimum height of 1.22m.
Joker FunHouse
This is like a fair ground fun house. The ride states it has a minimum height of 1.05m but once inside you can only do the ground level (which is essentially a mirror maze). When it seems to be getting more fun, you are sent out of a side door unless you are 1.2m…
Metropolis
Home to Superman and the Justice League, Metropolis is filled with superhero-themed attractions.
Justice League: War world Attacks
This 5D ride is lots of fun for families with kids over 1.05m. It’s an immersive, action-packed battle alongside DC’s most famous superheroes.
Green Lantern: Galactic Odyssey
Another exciting ride, this 4D flying theatre takes you on a space adventure with the Green Lantern. The height requirement is 1.05 meters, Leo really enjoyed this one but it does get a little scary in the middle with some bad guys and a big dragon.
Cartoon Junction
This area is perfect for families with younger children, offering interactive attractions and gentler rides themed around classic cartoon characters.
Tom and Jerry: Swiss Cheese Spin
This fun, spinning coaster is a hit with both kids and adults, with a height requirement of 1.05 meters. Leo absolutely loved it and says it is the best ride he has ever been on. I couldn’t ride it twice (spinning rides and me are not friends) so he took his uncle on it for a second go.
Scooby-Doo: The Museum of Mysteries
Join Scooby and the gang on this dark ride as you help them solve a mystery. The minimum height is 80cm meaning we could all enjoy this one.
Meet & Greet Characters
Don’t miss the opportunity to meet characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Scooby-Doo throughout the day. These meet-and-greet sessions are a big hit with younger kids.
Bedrock
The Flintstones Bedrock River Adventure
This boat ride takes you on a leisurely cruise through the Stone Age town of Bedrock, passing by Fred, Wilma, and the gang. The minimum height requirement is 1.05 m meaning Leo got to go on. There is a log flume like drop at the end with a little bit of a splash, you don’t get drenched.
Dynamite Gulch
This desert-themed land is home to characters from Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera.
Fast and Furry-ous
This roller coaster, inspired by Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, is a fun thrilling ride for those over 1.1 meters. We queued a little while for this one before realising Leo wasn’t 1.1m here. He was really disappointed he couldn’t ride this one. Me and his aunty went on it to see if it was worth the hype. It’s very gentle for a rollercoaster, great for younger kids just getting into the more thrilling rides (we told him he didn’t miss anything!)
Jetsons Cosmic Orbiter
A fun, family-friendly ride that takes you into space with the Jetsons. The height requirement is 80cm, making it suitable for younger kids. You have levers to make your spaceship spin and go up and down. A nice ride for the whole family to enjoy.
Warner Bros. Plaza
This area serves as the entrance to the park and sets the tone with its classic Hollywood atmosphere. While there are no rides here, it’s a great place to relax, grab a snack, and enjoy the live shows that happen throughout the day.
Food Options at Warner Bros. World
Tasty Ticket
You can buy a theme park ticket with an added meal voucher. It is currently another 65 AED (around £13) for adults and 55 AED (around £11) for kids. The voucher can be used at any of the park restaurants.
There are plenty of dining options throughout the park, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary needs. Families can find everything from quick snacks to full meals, with plenty of kid-friendly options. To summarise the options there is:
Metropolis
- Big Belly Burger offers classic American fast food like burgers and fries. Around £15 for a burger, fries and a drink.
- Ace O’ Clubs offers Indian style quick service food.
Cartoon Junction
- ACME Commissary offers fast food in the form of pizzas, empanadas, manakish and shawarma.
Warner Bros Plaza
- The Starlight is a 1930s themed full service restaurant. The Starlight offers a varied menu including steaks, lamb chops, skewers and sides. Characters often make an appearance here.
- Hollywood Trattoria is where we had lunch. A quick service Italian restaurant with some great pizza just £7 a slice. I had a slice of pizza and a drink for under £10 and this was enough for lunch. You could get a big plate of salad for around £11. A kids menu here was around £11.50 and you could choose either pizza, pasta or chicken tenders with a fruit salad and drink.
Bedrock
- Bronto Burgers and ribs This flintstone themed restaurant serves slabs of ribs, caveman tomahawk steaks and their signature giant-sized Bronto Burger. It is around £10 for a chicken or bronto beef burger. It’s around £12 for a giant drum stick with coleslaw.
Other Yas Island Theme Parks
One of the major draws for families visiting Yas Island is its world-class theme parks. These are the other three parks you can visit:
Ferrari World Yas Island
Car enthusiasts and thrill-seekers will love Ferrari World. Home to the world’s fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa (which is currently closed, boo). In addition to the high-speed attractions, there are family-friendly rides, simulators, and Ferrari-inspired shows for the whole family to enjoy. The park is located within Yas Mall and can be done with just half a day. The mall offers lots more fun activities to fill your day. We did indoor skydiving which I would really recommend.

Yas Waterworld
If you love a waterpark, Yas Waterworld is the place to be. With over 40 rides, slides, and attractions, this water park is ideal for a fun day out. It is currently being expanded so will have lots more to do in 2025! There’s something for all ages, from high-speed water slides to a lazy river and wave pools. Don’t miss the chance to ride the Dawwama, the world’s largest six-person tornado water slide! You can read our post on Yas Waterworld here.

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is the newest addition to Yas Island. It is the first SeaWorld that doesn’t have Orcas. With interactive exhibits and shows, this park has an emphasis on education. Our kids really enjoyed this one. Don’t miss the Manta Rollercoaster, it was a lot more intense than I was expecting!

Final Thoughts on Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi delivers an action packed, family friendly experience that’s perfect for all ages. From meeting cartoon characters to teaming up with iconic superheroes, there’s something to excite every child. During our visit with a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old, both the kids and the adults had an absolutely fantastic time!

When we started posting our travels on social media, over 4 years ago, we were met with so much hate.
“Selfish parents forcing their kids to travel”
“They are too young to remember”
“That poor baby…”
We received the above comments often. Within 4 years we have seen such a huge shift in perception. We rarely get those comments anymore, we get so many people saying we gave them the motivation to start travelling with little ones themselves. People often say how do you go from being a doctor and helping so many people, to being a content creator… but I genuinely think I help more people now 😅
This video was taken during our PR trip to Yas Island visiting their SeaWorld.

When you’ve dreamed of Sky Diving “since you were two years old”… this is naturally a big day for a tiny guy 😆
When we arrived at @clymbyasisland we were told Leo possibly couldn’t do it as there may not be a helmet small enough… luckily for him he inherited my big head ❤️ Sky diving is all he’s spoken about since we arrived in Abu Dhabi, and him not being able to do it would have broken his little heart. He sat through the briefing and listened so carefully so that he got it right.
We couldn’t believe how brave he was, not one ounce of fear as he rushed in there first. A huge smile never left his face. He did a lot better than I did too 🤣
When he came out he said “mummy this is the best day of my life” 🥲❤️

Day 1 of our 17 night trip to the Algarve and Porto 🇵🇹✈️
We visit the Algarve often as João is from here - the poor lad unfortunately left this sunny paradise for Nottinghamshire to be with me ✨ We are looking to move back here as soon as we can escape our mortgage..
Anyway, Alvor is honestly such a perfect place for a holiday. If you’re considering the Algarve look into Alvor or Portimão. I’ll do more videos on here later in the trip. The weather stays great into September and October, so it is the perfect place for a post summer escape. ☀️
