Best Hotels in Tenerife for Teenagers – A 2026 Guide
Trying to find a hotel to suit the whole family can be tough, especially as they get older. They’re too old for mini discos and character meet-and-greets, but still want plenty to do beyond lying by the pool. The good news? Tenerife is packed with hotels that are brilliant for older kids and teens. Think water slides, gaming zones, sports facilities, teen clubs, surf simulators, rooftop pools and even live DJs.
Whether you’ve got thrill-seeking teens, sporty teens or those who simply want somewhere Instagram-worthy to hang out, there’s something here for everyone. So if you’re searching for the best hotels in Tenerife for teenagers, these are the ones I would recommend.
1. Landmar Costa Los Gigantes Family Resort, Playa de la Arena
One of the best all-round hotels in Tenerife for teenagers – this hotel is hard to beat for all the family.
The resort is packed with activities including a splash park, zip lines, climbing wall, sports courts, mini golf and even a dedicated teen club. There’s so much to do that they won’t be glued to their phones all day (well, hopefully!). The spacious grounds also mean older kids can enjoy a little independence while you relax by the pool.

There’s also a climbing wall, adventure park and sports areas. It is within walking distance of the local beach and close by to Siam Park for a great day out. This luxurious hotel is ideal if you want something a little more premium than the average family resort.

4. PlayaOlid Suites & Apartments, Costa Adeje

The central Costa Adeje location means teenagers can enjoy exploring nearby shops, beaches and attractions with the family, while the hotel itself has pools, entertainment and a lively atmosphere with dedicated teen club. Bella Italia recently had a fire, which they say affected 1% of the camp but everything is still running as usual. I wonder if this is why it’s so cheap?! Anyway, it would make the perfect half term break and this is a bargain.

This family holiday is currently £1080 for 4 people (and it can sleep up to six!) and this includes flights, luggage, accommodation and car hire leaving on the 24th October!!
It’s currently £1292 for five people and £1640 for six!

I know a lot of the running community don’t like this sort of thing; beginners entering races they have no business entering. And I get it. For me, signing up was complete ignorance during a very difficult time. I wanted to raise money for the hospice that was caring for my mum, and the London marathon was happening at the time - I told my mum I’d run the London marathon next year - which is ridiculous as I’ve never ran in my life (I actually got a place on the Pancreatic cancer UK team 🙏🏻). My brother suggested signing up for this half marathon to help me prepare - so I did. And through grief and life, training started a little later than planned… but here we are. It would have been easy to drop out, say I’ll do it another time, but I’m not in it for the glory. I’m there to try my best, and raise money for an amazing charity. We have raised £11k so far; which is absolutely insane. If I get scooped up, I get scooped up. I want to see how far I can get before I do - and I’ll be a lot more prepared for London next year.

We already have 50,000 of these, but my friends son doesn’t, and I know he will love them.
We have a lot of this marble run track, but we don’t have one that sticks to a window and automatically takes the ball up and round. Absolute easy win for my kids.
I looked at the rules, it sounds like it will be a fun travel game now Leo is old enough to get involved in card games!
