Lanzarote Hotels with Splash Parks | Top 10

If you’re travelling to Lanzarote with younger kids, a splash park can make your holiday so much easier. You want somewhere safe, shallow, and fun – where they can just play without you worrying constantly or climbing endless stairs.

Here are the best hotels in Lanzarote with splash parks 👇

1. HL Paradise Island

If you want that “Mini Waterpark” feel without it being overwhelming, this is one of the best options on the island. It’s really geared towards families, with a relaxed all-inclusive vibe and loads to keep little ones busy.

The Dino-themed splash park is the highlight – bright, fun, and perfect for toddlers who just want to run around and play.

Why it’s great:

  • Dino-themed splash park with slides
  • Separate toddler-friendly pools
  • Free shuttle into resort centre
  • All-inclusive option
  • Great value

💡 Travel mum tip: Ideal if this is your first splash park holiday – exciting but not chaotic.

2. Relaxia Lanzasur Club

This is one of those hotels that works really well if you’ve got kids of different ages. It’s relaxed and spacious, but with enough going on to keep everyone entertained.

The heated pools are great for younger kids, and you’ve also got access to a proper waterpark next door, which makes it feel like you’re getting two holidays in one.

Why it’s great:

  • Unlimited access to Aqualava waterpark
  • Heated pools including the children’s pool (01 Nov – 31 March)
  • Great for mixed ages
  • Spacious apartment-style rooms
  • Close to beach

💡 Travel mum tip: Perfect if you’ve got a toddler and an older child – everyone’s happy.

3. Bakour Lanzarote Splash

If you’ve got younger kids, this is one of those hotels where everything just feels easy. It’s compact, colourful, and designed with families in mind – so you’re not walking miles everywhere.

The pirate-themed splash park is the main attraction, with small slides and shallow areas perfect for hours of play.

Why it’s great:

  • Pirate-themed splash park
  • Shallow pools for toddlers
  • Compact layout
  • Family-focused atmosphere
  • Great value

💡 Travel mum tip: Ideal if you want a stress-free holiday where everything is close by.

Staying at H10 Suites Lanzarote Gardens also includes free access to the nearby waterpark, a short trip away and perfect for extra family fun

Why it’s great:

  • Pirate ship splash pool
  • Baby and toddler-friendly areas
  • Close to the beach

5. Aequora Lanzarote Suites

If you want something that feels a bit more modern but still works for kids, this is a great option. It’s slightly calmer than some of the bigger family resorts.

The splash park is fun without being too full-on, and there are separate areas for families which makes it feel more relaxed.

Why it’s great:

  • Splash park with climbing features
  • Separate family zones
  • Modern feel
  • Close to beach
  • Good balance of style + family

💡 Travel mum tip: Great if you don’t want a full-on “kids everywhere” vibe.

Why it’s great:

  • Splash park + kids areas
  • Multiple pools
  • Sports facilities
  • Modern design

The last time I posted about this, there were so many comments from people saying you shouldn`t drink around children. Which I find mad as a child of the 90`s who grew up in working class England when pub culture was at its peak.

Kids entertaining themselves, a glass of wine with friends... If someone wants to open a soft play bar, I`ll be your first customer 🫡

Menorca is a fab shout for a family holiday 🍹

Short transfers ✔️
Calm, shallow beaches ✔️
No chaos, just a relaxed vibe ✔️

It’s one of the easiest places we’ve travelled with kids. Safe, simple, and really stress free. Think beach days, ice creams, and slow evenings without the hectic scenes you can often get on Mallorca and Ibiza. We decided we wanted to live there on the first day of our holiday 😝

We went in August which was a little too hot for us and very busy on some of the most popular beaches. The next time we go we will try May/June or September/October.

Comment MENORCA and I’ll send you a link to our favourite Menorca hotels with splash parks plus a video I made about a cheap boat trip we did 💛

We visited Billund having no idea what to expect, all we knew was that it is the birthplace of LEGO (which was enough in itself to make us want to visit!) We visited LEGOLAND, LEGO House, Lalandia and Wow Park. It’s a very walkable city and really great for families.

Annoyingly Ryanair dropped a lot of routes there, so you can only fly directly from London and Edinburgh. A great alternative is flying to Copenhagen and getting the train. Some people even drive there!

If you go to our blog and search Billund, we have a couple of posts on there about the attractions we visited.
