It has one outdoor pool, direct access to the River Eure and access to Paris and Disneyland Paris, although both still require a decent journey. We prefer La Croix if planning some days at Disneyland.
• La Chapelle Eurocamp, A great all-rounder with a covered heated pool, lagoon pool, splash park for little ones, larger waterslides and a separate lane pool. It is also only 200m from the beach and close to the centre of Argelès-Plage. Very strong for younger children and shoulder-season travel if you want to swim in the cooler months.
• Les Rives du Luberon Eurocamp, The quietest, smallest option, with only 104 pitches and one outdoor pool. Highlight the mountain views, nearby lakes, walking routes and peaceful countryside – not ideal if you value waterpark facilities.
• Domaine de la Sainte Baume Eurocamp , Three outdoor pools including a children’s pool, plus kids’ activities, mini-golf, horse riding and hiking from the park. Best for active families who prefer a shaded woodland setting over a busy beachfront resort
