Agadir Hotels | Family Edition 2026
Agadir Hotels | Family Edition 2026
Agadir is a fantastic family destination to visit from the UK all year round. With more airlines than ever now flying there, families are discovering that this Moroccan beach resort offers sunshine, good value, and plenty of options for children of all ages.
Here’s our guide to some of the best Agadir hotels for families.
Agadir Hotels: Which Area is Best?
Agadir hotels are spread across a few key areas. Choosing the right area can make a big difference when travelling with children. The main zones are Agadir beachfront and promenade hotels, Founty and tourist zone resorts, and quieter locations such as Taghazout Bay (which we loved!)’
Beachfront and Promenade Agadir hotels
If you want to be steps from the sand, beachfront and promenade hotels are perfect. Families enjoy easy access to cafés, shops, and evening strolls.
Our Recommendations:
Pickalbatros Palais des Roses Agadir is a family friendly hotel near the promenade with spacious grounds, pools, and family rooms. This hotel works well for families who want a relaxed base with easy access to the beach.
Allegro Agadir is a budget friendly hotel that we stayed at during our trip. It is lively, spacious, and offers lots of areas for children to play.
Travel Mum tip: we visited in November and the pool was freezing. In the warmer months this wouldn’t be an issue, but it’s worth bearing in mind if you’re booking winter sun.
Iberostar Waves Founty Beach is a lively hotel with a strong entertainment programme, great pool areas, and activities for older children. Many families enjoy the energetic atmosphere and beach access.
Other beachfront Agadir hotels include Hotel Argana for central location and value, Royal Decameron Tafoukt Beach Resort for a lively atmosphere, and Amadil Ocean Club which offers slides and splash pools for younger children.
Founty and Tourist Zone Agadir hotels
This area is just behind the promenade and hosts larger resorts with all inclusive facilities and plenty of activities. Families love the convenience and variety of entertainment at these hotels.
Our Recommendations:
Dunes d’Or Ocean Club is highly recommended for families, with multiple pools, waterslides, and activities for children of all ages. It has strong reviews on travel sites for both value and family facilities.
Valeria Jardins d’Agadir Resort sits slightly back from the beachfront but offers gardens, pools, and family room options. It is popular for families who want a quieter stay while still having easy access to the beach and local restaurants.
Taghazout Bay Agadir hotels
Taghazout Bay is quieter, more scenic, and slightly outside central Agadir. Transfers from the airport are longer, but families often prefer the calm atmosphere and pool facilities.
Our Recommendations:
Pickalbatros White Beach Taghazout is a large, modern resort with plenty of space, pools, and entertainment. It suits families who enjoy all inclusive stays with plenty of activities for children.
For those fancying something a bit more boujee, Fairmont Taghazout Bay a well-rated, 5* option with a relaxed environment. It is ideal for families who want a quieter, scenic base.
Choosing the Right Agadir Hotels for your Family
When selecting Agadir hotels, consider the age of your children, your budget, and the type of holiday you want. Younger children benefit from easy beach access, kids clubs, and splash pools. Older children often enjoy hotels with larger pools, slides, and entertainment programmes.
For winter trips, check whether pools are heated, as Agadir winters are sunny but water temperatures can be cool. Families also benefit from choosing hotels close to the promenade for easy walks and local amenities.
Agadir hotels – Overall
Agadir hotels are a brilliant choice for families in 2026. They offer a combination of sunshine, value, family facilities, and easy access to beaches and local attractions. Whether you prefer a lively beachfront hotel like Iberostar Waves Founty Beach, a quieter resort like Valeria Jardins d’Agadir, or a budget friendly option like Caribbean Village Agador, there is something for every family.
Many of the hotels we’ve recommended have pools, kids clubs, waterslides, and family rooms, making them suitable for children of all ages. The range of options also means that families can select hotels that suit their budget and the type of holiday they want.
Overall, Agadir hotels provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for families, whether you are seeking relaxation, adventure, or a bit of both. With direct flights from the UK, it has never been easier to enjoy a family holiday in Morocco.

Another Merlin Pass sale for those who missed the last one! We are loving ours so far, it’s so handy to have what feels like a “free” day out when you don’t know what to do with the kids. We’re going to Alton Towers this weekend and it was super easy to log into the pass portal and get tickets for us.
It’s also great for a trip to London as there are tons of attractions there that you can use it on 💛
