Family Lodges with Hot Tubs
Family Lodges with Hot Tubs
Family lodges with hot tubs are becoming one of the most popular breaks for families looking for UK holidays. Combining comfort, outdoor space, and that added touch of luxury, hot tub family lodges offer a memorable mix of relaxation and together time. Even in winter, nothing beats stepping out onto a private veranda and sinking into warm bubbling water.
Family Lodges with Hot Tubs: What to Look For
When booking a family lodge with a hot tub, there are a few key things to keep in mind:
Child‑friendly facilities: Make sure there are gated decks or secure balconies to prevent accidental falls, also check travel‑cot and highchair availability. Some parks may have guidelines for the age that children can use the hot tub, check the information for the park before booking.
Location: Haven and Parkdean have locations all around the UK. Think about whether you want to be in a rural or coastal location, more remote or close to local towns and attractions.
Pet‑friendly options: If you plan to bring a dog, check that the lodge and holiday park allow pets and if there is any additional charge.
On‑site amenities: Park facitlities vary so look for playgrounds, swimming pools, bike hire, kids’ clubs, or other facilities. Some activities require pre – booking and can fill up fast, check where and how to book once you have your confirmation.
Safety and cleanliness: Confirm that the hot tub is maintained between guests.

Fallbarrow Holiday Park, Lake District
A peaceful, lakeside holiday park in the Lake District, right on the shores of Lake Windermere. It offers a quiet woodland atmosphere, with facilities including a games room, children’s play area, picnic spots, and boat-launching on the lake.

There’s also a children’s adventure playground, multi-sports court, woodland walks, and boating facilities via a marina. Dining options include the Boathouse Bar & Restaurant, and there’s a shop and picnic areas on site. This is one of our faves when recommending family lodges with hot tubs!
Cayton Bay Holiday Park, Nr. Scarborough
A coastal park on the Yorkshire coast near Scarborough.Very family-oriented, with a wide range of activities – indoor pool, multi-sports court, pedal karts, adventure golf, and more.
There’s evening entertainment, bars, and a show venue.

Perran Sands Holiday Park, Cornwall

Family Lodges with Hot Tubs: Tips
When is best to go: Off‑peak seasons such as spring and autumn. Cheaper stays + quieter parks = more relaxation.
How to find the best deals: Check Parkdean’s or Haven’s websites for offers. You’ll likely find the best prices outside of the school holidays but last minute long weekends can provide great value if you’re tied to term time.
What to pack: Swimwear, flip‑flops, robe & towels. For more general tips about what to pack for a lodge stay, check out our packing guide blog here.
Hot tub safety: Make sure to supervise children using the hot tub at all times, take regular breaks and keep hydrated.
Family Lodges with Hot Tubs – Overall
A family lodge with a hot tub is a wonderful way to combine adventure and relaxation. Book early for the best choice.

The last time I posted about this, there were so many comments from people saying you shouldn`t drink around children. Which I find mad as a child of the 90`s who grew up in working class England when pub culture was at its peak.
Kids entertaining themselves, a glass of wine with friends... If someone wants to open a soft play bar, I`ll be your first customer 🫡

Menorca is a fab shout for a family holiday 🍹
Short transfers ✔️
Calm, shallow beaches ✔️
No chaos, just a relaxed vibe ✔️
It’s one of the easiest places we’ve travelled with kids. Safe, simple, and really stress free. Think beach days, ice creams, and slow evenings without the hectic scenes you can often get on Mallorca and Ibiza. We decided we wanted to live there on the first day of our holiday 😝
We went in August which was a little too hot for us and very busy on some of the most popular beaches. The next time we go we will try May/June or September/October.
Comment MENORCA and I’ll send you a link to our favourite Menorca hotels with splash parks plus a video I made about a cheap boat trip we did 💛

We visited Billund having no idea what to expect, all we knew was that it is the birthplace of LEGO (which was enough in itself to make us want to visit!) We visited LEGOLAND, LEGO House, Lalandia and Wow Park. It’s a very walkable city and really great for families.
Annoyingly Ryanair dropped a lot of routes there, so you can only fly directly from London and Edinburgh. A great alternative is flying to Copenhagen and getting the train. Some people even drive there!
If you go to our blog and search Billund, we have a couple of posts on there about the attractions we visited.
