Hotels With Waterslides | Spain
Hotels With Waterslides | Spain
When you’re planning a family holiday to Spain, the hotel is such a big part of making it special. And if you’ve got little ones, you’ll know exactly how important it is to find somewhere that not only welcomes families but also has plenty to keep the kids entertained. For us, that often means one thing… waterslides!
My son could spend hours splashing around, zooming down slides, and playing in splash parks, and I know so many of you tell me the same. The great news is Spain is bursting with amazing family-friendly hotels with waterslides, splash parks and toddler-friendly pools. Whether you’re looking for a beachfront resort, a hotel close to the airport, or somewhere with loads of activities to fill your days, I’ve rounded up 13 of my top picks.
Here are 13 of the best hotels in Spain with waterslides, perfect for toddlers, kids and the whole family.
1. Holiday Village Costa Del Sol, Benalmadena, Costa Del Sol
I have to start with this one because it’s such a favourite with families. Holiday Village Costa Del Sol feels like it was designed with children in mind. There are three pools plus the amazing Beach Club waterpark with pirate ships, elephant fountains, and even wave pools.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll love that there’s also a spa for parents to enjoy some downtime while the little ones are in the creche or kids’ clubs. There’s even an indoor soft play and ball pit which is a lifesaver if you want a break from the sun.
Entertainment runs all day, from poolside fun to mini discos, cinema nights, live music and even bingo. It really does tick every box. The hotel is only 30 minutes from the airport, which is ideal when you’re travelling with tired toddlers.
Why families love it:
- Onsite Beach Club waterpark
- Great kids’ clubs and creche
- Short 30-minute transfer
- Gorgeous seafront location
2. Magic Natura – Animal Waterpark & Polynesian Lodge Resort, Benidorm, Costa Blanca
This hotel is like two holidays in one. You get unlimited access to the Aqua Natura Waterpark and the Terra Natura Wildlife Park. So your days can be filled with waterslides and animal adventures, from spotting elephants to watching lions.
The resort itself has loads going on, including kids’ clubs, activities, and mini discos. Food-wise, there are six restaurants to choose from if you go all inclusive plus. You’ll never be short of options.
Accommodation is in bungalow-style lodges, so it feels a bit different to your usual hotel stay. And with Benidorm just a short shuttle bus ride away, there’s plenty to do offsite too.
Why families love it:
- Waterpark and wildlife park included
- Endless entertainment options
- Brilliant choice of restaurants
- Only 40 minutes from the airport
3. Mojacar Playa Aquapark Hotel, Costa De Almeria
This one is a real gem. The hotel is set on a hillside with beautiful views of Mojacar and the sea. The kids’ pool is brightly coloured and perfect for toddlers, with little slides, a tipping bucket and shallow water.
Older kids (and parents) can try out the three bigger slides, while little ones aged three and up can join the kids’ club. The beach is just a short stroll away too.
Rooms are airy and modern, with plenty of options for families of different sizes. At mealtimes, there’s a buffet restaurant with live cooking stations, plus pizzas and snacks by the pool.
Why families love it:
- Scenic views and beachfront location
- Toddler-friendly splash park
- Bigger slides for older kids
- Family-friendly dining options
4. Golden Taurus Aquapark Resort, Costa Brava
If you like the idea of mixing pool time with beach days, this one is perfect. The hotel has four pools, including two just for kids, and its own waterpark with racing slides and a splash area for little ones.
There’s also a playground, soft play area, and even a chocolate fountain once a week at the buffet restaurant. The TUI Kids’ Club offers fun activities for ages 3–6, which gives parents a little breather.
Family suites are available, giving you that extra space once the kids are tucked up in bed.
Why families love it:
- Beachfront location
- Pools, playground and soft play
- Weekly chocolate fountain
- Kids’ club for little ones
5. Evenia Zoraida Park, Roquetas de Mar, Costa De Almeria
This hotel is set right on the beach, so you get the best of both worlds with pools and the sea. Toddlers will love the shallow splash pool with its pirate ship, waterfall, and small slides. Older kids can enjoy the racing slides and flumes nearby.

Why families love it:
- Pirate-themed splash pool
- Beachfront setting
- Wide choice of restaurants
- Great entertainment for all ages
6. Magic Aqua Rock Gardens, Benidorm, Costa Blanca
This tropical-themed hotel has something for everyone. Toddlers will love the splash park with fountains, slides, and a tipping bucket, while older ones can brave the kamikaze slides. Parents can enjoy the swim-up bar and watch movies on the giant outdoor screen by the pool.

8. Mediterraneo Bay, Roquetas de Mar, Costa De Almeria
If your toddler loves fire engines, this one is a must. The splash area has a fire engine with water jets and slides, set within a huge lagoon-style pool surrounded by palm trees.
The beach and promenade are just steps away, and the entertainment includes live music, flamenco shows and family competitions. Rooms are bright and modern, with junior suites for extra space.

9. Albir Garden Resort, Costa Blanca
This relaxed resort village has a fantastic splash park with colourful slides, flumes and tipping buckets. It’s also right next to bigger waterpark slides, which is handy if you’ve got older children too.
Apartments come with handy kitchenettes, which is great if you like to prepare your own snacks. The resort is just a short, flat stroll into the pretty town of Albir and close to the scenic Playa de Raco de l’Albur beach.

10. Hotel Rosamar, Benidorm, Costa Blanca
This hotel is modern and stylish with a brilliant kids’ pool area featuring a fort with bridges, slides and water jets. The tipping bucket is always a hit.

ad I think this might be my new favourite water park in the world! It’s taken my top space from another amazing park, YAS Waterworld in Abu Dhabi.
Why did I rate Volcano Bay so much?
- Incredible theming as you’d expect from a Universal park.
- Lots for my 2 and 7 year olds to do together.
- Free swim nappies! (Little things like this show you a park gets it when it comes to families)
- It isn’t too big. Some waterparks are huge and difficult to get around. This felt quite compact while still having lots to do.
- Picnic benches by the splash area! Great for having a beer and snack in peace while the kids play.
We are currently visiting Orlando on a package holiday with @britishairwaysholidays
I’ve written a blog over on our website with some more info on the park. Comment VOLCANO and I’ll send you a DM with the link.

The last time I posted about this, there were so many comments from people saying you shouldn`t drink around children. Which I find mad as a child of the 90`s who grew up in working class England when pub culture was at its peak.
Kids entertaining themselves, a glass of wine with friends... If someone wants to open a soft play bar, I`ll be your first customer 🫡

Menorca is a fab shout for a family holiday 🍹
Short transfers ✔️
Calm, shallow beaches ✔️
No chaos, just a relaxed vibe ✔️
It’s one of the easiest places we’ve travelled with kids. Safe, simple, and really stress free. Think beach days, ice creams, and slow evenings without the hectic scenes you can often get on Mallorca and Ibiza. We decided we wanted to live there on the first day of our holiday 😝
We went in August which was a little too hot for us and very busy on some of the most popular beaches. The next time we go we will try May/June or September/October.
Comment MENORCA and I’ll send you a link to our favourite Menorca hotels with splash parks plus a video I made about a cheap boat trip we did 💛
