PAW Patrol Chessington – Everything You Need to Know 2026

If you’ve got a little one who can’t get enough of Chase, Skye, Marshall and the rest of the pups, then World of PAW Patrol is a must-visit. Located within Chessington World of Adventures, it is the UK’s first and only PAW Patrol-themed land. It’s been designed especially for toddlers and younger primary school children, with gentle family rides, interactive play areas and the chance to meet some of their favourite characters.

If you’re planning your first visit, this PAW Patrol Chessington guide covers everything you need to know. We’ll take you through each attraction, where to eat, where to stay, ticket prices, top tips and the questions parents ask most often.

What is World of PAW Patrol?

World of PAW Patrol is a colourful themed area inside Chessington World of Adventures Resort, inspired by the hugely popular Nickelodeon TV series. Our two year old, Luca, is obsessed with the show. The moment he saw the big entrance was a highlight, I’ve never seen him run so fast! From the moment you arrive, you’ll spot familiar vehicles, bright scenery and plenty of nods to Adventure Bay, making it feel like you’ve stepped into the show.

Learn more here!

The area has been created with younger children in mind, so unlike many theme parks where toddlers can feel limited, toddlers over 90cm can enjoy all four rides. Most families will find it’s best suited to children aged around 2-7 years old, although older siblings will still have fun joining in and running wild in the playground!

One thing that’s worth knowing before you visit is that this is one of the most popular areas in the park. During weekends and school holidays, queues can build quickly for both the rides and character appearances. If you have the flexibility, we’d always recommend visiting during term time on a weekday for the shortest queues and a more relaxed experience at PAW Patrol Chessington.

World of PAW Patrol Rides

All four rides have been designed especially for younger children and have a minimum height requirement of 90cm. Luca isn’t quite 90cm (maybe 89.5cm), but they weren’t too strict and let him on all the rides.

whatsapp-image-2026-07-29-at-17-39-37

Chase’s Mountain Mission

Minimum height: 90cm.
Children between 90cm and 1.1m must ride with an adult (16+).

Ride intensity: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ – Gentle family coaster

If your child loves Chase, this will probably be their favourite ride! Guests climb aboard Chase’s rescue vehicle before setting off on a gentle adventure through the mountains. There are twists, turns and small changes in direction, but nothing that feels too intense, making it an ideal first coaster experience for young children.

It’s exciting enough to make little adventurers giggle without being scary, and adults can ride alongside them too. For many families visiting PAW Patrol Chessington, this is one of the rides you’ll want to head to first as queues build quickly.

whatsapp-image-2026-07-29-at-17-39-40-1

Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue

Minimum height: 90cm.

Children between 90cm and 1.1m must ride with an adult (16+).

Ride intensity: ⭐☆☆☆☆ – Very gentle

Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue is one of the more gentle attractions in World of PAW Patrol and a brilliant choice for first-time theme park visitors. Families hop aboard Marshall’s bright red fire engine before setting off on a slow journey up and around.

If you’ve got a nervous rider, this is usually the perfect place to start your day at PAW Patrol Chessington.

whatsapp-image-2026-07-29-at-17-39-37-2

Skye’s Helicopter Heroes

Minimum height: 90cm

Children between 90cm and 1.1m must ride with an adult (16+).

Ride intensity: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ – Gentle flying ride

Skye’s Helicopter Heroes lets little pilots take to the skies in colourful helicopters. The ride gently lifts into the air before circling above the themed land, giving children a fantastic view across World of PAW Patrol. It’s smooth, calm and suitable for most young riders, making it another family favourite.

Because Skye is such a popular character, this attraction often has some of the longest queues during busy periods, so it’s worth riding earlier in the day if you can when visiting PAW Patrol Chessington.

whatsapp-image-2026-07-29-at-17-39-37-1

Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure

Minimum height: 90cm

Children between 90cm and 1.2m must ride with an adult (16+).

Ride intensity: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ – Gentle spinning ride

This was our favourite ride in the area. Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure sees families climb aboard colourful hovercrafts before gliding around the course. The spinning is mild, making it suitable for most preschoolers while still feeling exciting enough to keep them entertained. They can have control of the car and drift on the corners, lots of fun!

Rubble & Rocky’s Play Zone

whatsapp-image-2026-07-29-at-17-39-38-2

In the center of World of PAW Patrol is Rubble & Rocky’s Play Zone.

This colourful playground includes climbing equipment, slides and interactive play features where little ones can run around and burn off some energy between rides. Parents will be pleased to know there are picnic benches right next to the play area, making it a great place to stop for lunch or a snack if you’ve brought your own food.

Many families find this becomes one of the highlights of PAW Patrol Chessington, especially if their children enjoy climbing and exploring.

PAW Patrol Meet and Greets

whatsapp-image-2026-07-29-at-17-39-38

For many children, meeting their favourite pup is even more exciting than the rides. Throughout the day you’ll have the chance to meet selected PAW Patrol characters, with Rubble and Skye among the regular appearances. Character schedules can vary, so it’s worth checking the Chessington app or asking a member of staff when you arrive.

Queues can become very long during weekends and school holidays, so we’d recommend arriving a few minutes before the advertised meet and greet time if this is high on your child’s wish list.

Don’t forget your camera, as these often end up being the photos families treasure most from their visit to PAW Patrol Chessington.

Food and Drink at PAW Patrol Chessington

There aren’t many places to get food in World of PAW Patrol itself, but there are plenty of family-friendly places to eat just a short walk away, whether you’re after a quick snack or a proper sit-down meal.

The PAW Patrol Food Outlet

Within the themed land you’ll find a small takeaway outlet serving quick family favourites such as hot dogs, chicken bites, fries, children’s lunch options and drinks. It’s ideal if you don’t want to leave the area for long, although it can get busy around lunchtime during weekends and school holidays. It’s a good place to grab a coffee while the kids run wild in the playground.

Like the rest of Chessington, allergy information is available on request. Team members can provide allergen guides and ingredient information, so it’s always worth speaking to staff before ordering if anyone in your group has dietary requirements.

Nearby Restaurants

If you’re looking for a larger meal, there are several restaurants just a few minutes away from World of PAW Patrol.

Some of the most popular include:

  • Smokehouse BBQ & Bar for burgers, chicken and barbecue favourites.
  • Vampire Burger Kitchen for quick burgers, loaded fries and children’s meals.
  • Adventure Point Hot Dogs for grab-and-go snacks.
  • Pizza Pasta Buffet, which is often a favourite with families thanks to its unlimited pizza, pasta, salad and garlic bread.

Menus can change throughout the season, but you’ll usually find plenty of child-friendly options across the park.

Food Prices

When we visited, these were some of the food prices we saw:

  • Children’s kebab meal (includes a drink) – £8.25
  • Children’s loaded fries meal (includes a drink) – £8.25
  • Safari doner kebab – £12.25
  • Jungle chicken kebab – £12.25
  • Adventure mixed kebab – £13.25
  • Greek salad – £9.00
  • Loaded fries – from £11.25
  • Regular churros – £8.25
  • Large churros – £9.75
  • Regular chocolate cups – £7.25
  • Large chocolate cups – £9.75
  • Mixed brownies – from £8.25
  • Loaded brownies – from £10.25

Silver and Gold Annual Pass holders can receive discounts on food and drink at participating outlets, so it’s worth checking before you order if you’re a passholder.

Can You Bring Your Own Food?

Yes, and we’d recommend it if you’re trying to keep costs down. There are picnic benches right next to Rubble & Rocky’s Play Zone! It’s one of the best spots to stop for lunch while the children burn off some energy before heading back onto the rides.

Note: If anyone in your family has allergies, Chessington provides allergen information at its food outlets, so just ask a member of staff before ordering.

Our Top Tips for Visiting World of PAW Patrol

A little planning can make a big difference, especially if you’re visiting with younger children. Here are our favourite tips for making the most of your day at PAW Patrol Chessington.

Visit During Term Time if You Can

World of PAW Patrol is one of the busiest areas in the park, especially during weekends and school holidays. If you have preschoolers who aren’t tied to school holidays, a midweek term-time visit is by far the best option. You’ll usually find shorter queues, quieter pathways and a much more relaxed atmosphere.

Arrive Before the Park Opens

Try to arrive at least 30 minutes before opening time. Being near the front of the queue means you can head straight to World of PAW Patrol when the gates open and enjoy the most popular rides before queues start to build.

Ride the Most Popular Attractions First

If your child has their heart set on a particular ride, head there first. Chase’s Mountain Mission and Skye’s Helicopter Heroes are often the busiest rides in the land, so getting these ticked off early can save a long wait later in the day.

Make Time for the Meet and Greets

Character appearances are one of the highlights for many families. Check the Chessington app when you arrive and plan your day around the Meet and Greet times if meeting Chase or Skye is a priority. We’d recommend joining the queue a little before the advertised start time during busy periods.

Pack the Essentials

If you’re visiting with toddlers or preschoolers, we’d recommend bringing:

  • A refillable water bottle
  • Snacks for queue times
  • A pushchair if your little one still uses one
  • Waterproofs or spare clothes
  • Sun cream and hats in summer
  • Portable phone charger
  • Any favourite comfort toys for waiting in queues

Even though the rides are close together, it’s still a full day out and little legs can get tired.

Consider a PAW Patrol fast pass

You can currently get a fast pass for the PAW Patrol World rides for £14. This means you can skip the queues on all four rides. It could be worth considering if you have impatient little ones.

Don’t Forget the Zoo and SEA LIFE

whatsapp-image-2026-07-29-at-17-43-26

Although World of PAW Patrol will probably be the highlight of the day for younger children, don’t make the mistake of heading home once you’ve finished the rides.

One of the things that makes Chessington different from many other UK theme parks is that your admission also includes access to the zoo and SEA LIFE aquarium. The zoo is home to lots of animals, including gorillas, giraffes, penguins and monkeys, while SEA LIFE gives little ones the chance to see sharks, rays, colourful tropical fish. If you’ve got animal lovers in the family, it’s well worth allowing a couple of extra hours to explore both attractions.

Our Suggested Itinerary for Toddlers

If you’re visiting with younger children, this is how we’d plan the day if we were to return.

9:30am – Arrive before the park opens.

10:00am – Head straight to World of PAW Patrol and ride Chase’s Mountain Mission and Skye’s Helicopter Heroes first.

11:00am – Enjoy Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue and Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure.

11:45am – Let the children burn off some energy at Rubble & Rocky’s Play Zone.

12:30pm – Stop for lunch or enjoy a picnic by the playground.

1:00pm – Visit the PAW Patrol Meet and Greet and then check out some other gentle rides in the main theme park.

2:00pm – Explore Chessington Zoo. Ride ‘ZUFARI: Ride into Africa’ if your little one is tall enough (minimum 1m) its a safari style ride that takes you around the animals in a big jeep.

3:30pm – Visit SEA LIFE. It’s a small aquarium that shouldn’t need longer than half an hour.

4:00pm – Re-ride your favourites, especially if queues are shorter before finishing your day.

Ticket Prices

The price of visiting World of PAW Patrol is included in your standard Chessington World of Adventures ticket, so you don’t need to pay anything extra to enjoy the rides, play area or Meet and Greets. PAW Patrol Chessington is included with all standard park admission.

Ticket prices vary depending on the date you visit, with quieter dates usually offering the biggest savings.

At the time of writing this post:

  • Advance tickets typically start from around £29 per person on off-peak dates.
  • Booking online is almost always cheaper than buying tickets on the gate.
  • Children under 90cm enter free.
  • Your ticket includes access to over 40 rides and attractions, Chessington Zoo and the SEA LIFE Aquarium.
  • There are often promotions that give you two days of park tickets with an overnight stay at the onsite hotel.

If you’re visiting during weekends or school holidays, we’d recommend booking as early as possible as prices increase on busier dates.

Staying at Chessington World of Adventures Resort

If you’re travelling a long way or want to make the most of your visit, we’d definitely recommend staying overnight. Not only does it make for a much more relaxed trip, but hotel guests also get some fantastic perks, including Early Ride Time, access to Savannah Splash, free parking and breakfast. One of the biggest advantages is that you’ll be just a short walk from the theme park entrance, making it easy to head straight to World of PAW Patrol before the queues build. We stayed over and were able to enter the park at 9am. By the time the general admissions came in, we’d been on three of the PAW Patrol rides.

Safari Resort Hotel

The Safari Resort Hotel is themed around an African safari and is the larger of Chessington’s two hotels. Many of the rooms sleep up to five guests and overlook the Wanyama Reserve, where you can spot giraffes, zebras, ostriches and antelope from the hotel viewing areas. Families can choose from standard rooms or a range of themed rooms inspired by popular children’s characters and adventures – including PAW Patrol hotel rooms for the most immersive experience to accompany your World of PAW Patrol visit (more info on those a little further down this post!)

Azteca Resort Hotel

The Azteca Resort Hotel has a colourful Mesoamerican theme, with impressive temples, jungle-inspired décor and a fun atmosphere throughout. While there aren’t any PAW Patrol-themed bedrooms here, it’s still a fantastic choice for families wanting to stay on site. Both hotels are connected so the one you choose won’t make too much difference to your trip. Rooms also sleep up to five guests, and you’ll have access to exactly the same hotel benefits as Safari Resort Hotel guests.

PAW Patrol Hotel Rooms

One of the biggest highlights for younger children can be staying in one of the themed PAW Patrol rooms at the Safari Resort Hotel.

Decorated with colourful artwork featuring Chase, Skye, Marshall and the rest of the pups, the rooms continue the adventure after you’ve left the park. From themed bedding to playful décor, they’re designed to make little fans feel like they’re spending the night in Adventure Bay. Like the other themed family rooms at Chessington, they usually sleep up to five guests and are incredibly popular, especially during weekends and school holidays, so we’d recommend booking as early as possible if your heart is set on staying in one.

What’s Included with an Overnight Stay?

Whether you stay at the Safari Resort Hotel or the Azteca Resort Hotel, overnight packages typically include:

  • Theme park tickets
  • One night’s accommodation
  • Breakfast
  • Free parking
  • Early Ride Time on both days either side of your stay
  • Access to Savannah Splash (more info below)
  • Evening entertainment
  • Character appearances (subject to availability)

One of our favourite perks is Early Ride Time. Having access to selected rides before the park opens can make a huge difference, especially if you’re planning to spend the morning in PAW Patrol Chessington.

screenshot-2026-07-29-225445

Savannah Splash

Savannah Splash is an indoor splash pool exclusively for hotel guests and is included with your stay. It’s the perfect way to round off your trip, with shallow splash areas and interactive water features that are ideal for toddlers and younger children.

PLEASE NOTE: At the time of publishing this post, Savannah Splash is currently closed. Use the link below to see if it’s available for your dates.

Savannah Splash Info
whatsapp-image-2026-07-29-at-17-40-28-2

Character Experiences

Depending on when you visit, you may also find character appearances and family entertainment taking place in the hotels during the evening or at breakfast. These experiences vary throughout the year, but they’re a lovely added bonus for younger children and help make an overnight stay feel even more memorable.

Overnight Stay Prices

At the time of writing this post:

  • Resort hotel short breaks start from around £73 per person based on a family of four
  • Promotional offers can start from around £29 per person during quieter periods – check out our Merlin Offers Explained guide for more info on how to save money on all Merlin Theme Parks.

If you’re travelling a long distance, we’d definitely compare the cost of an overnight package against buying day tickets separately. Once you’ve added parking and breakfast, the difference is often much smaller than you’d expect.

Frequently Asked Questions About World of PAW Patrol Chessington

If you’re visiting Chessington with toddlers or younger primary school children, we’d say yes.

World of PAW Patrol has been designed specifically for younger families, giving them an area where almost everything has been created with their age group in mind. The combination of gentle rides, character experiences and imaginative play makes it one of the best themed lands for preschoolers in the UK. Add in Chessington’s zoo, SEA LIFE aquarium and the rest of the theme parks family attractions, and it’s easy to turn your visit into a full day out that keeps small children entertained from start to finish.

Yes. All of the rides and attractions in World of PAW Patrol are included with your standard Chessington admission or Annual Pass.

We’d say it’s ideal for children aged around 2-7 years old. Toddlers, preschoolers and younger primary school children will get the most from the rides and play areas, making PAW Patrol Chessington one of the best themed lands in the UK for younger families.

If queues are short, you could experience everything in around 1-2 hours. During school holidays or weekends, we’d allow at least 3-4 hours so you can enjoy the rides, playground and Meet and Greets without rushing.

Children under 90cm receive free admission to Chessington, although they won’t be able to enjoy the four main rides in World of PAW Patrol until they reach the minimum height requirement of 90cm. They can still enjoy the playground, character appearances, zoo, SEA LIFE and several other attractions around the resort.

Baby changing facilities are available throughout Chessington World of Adventures, including facilities close to World of PAW Patrol.

Most rides continue operating in light rain, although some attractions may close temporarily during severe weather. Packing waterproofs is always a good idea if you’re visiting outside the summer months.

Yes. Adults can ride all of the attractions with children, provided the height requirements are met.

If you’re travelling more than an hour or so, we’d genuinely recommend looking at an overnight stay.

The biggest benefit is that you don’t feel under pressure to fit everything into one day. Instead, you can enjoy World of PAW Patrol at a slower pace before exploring the rest of the resort. One of the biggest perks is Early Ride Time on both days either side of your stay, giving hotel guests access to selected rides before the park opens to everyone else. This can make a huge difference during busy weekends and school holidays. You’ll also have access to Savannah Splash, breakfast is included, parking is free and you’ll only be a short walk from the park entrance.

When you compare the cost of a hotel package against buying day tickets, parking and breakfast separately, it can often work out better value than you might expect, particularly outside peak season.

Our Final Verdict on World of PAW Patrol at Chessington World of Adventures

If you’re looking for one of the best UK theme park experiences for younger children, World of PAW Patrol is a fantastic addition to Chessington World of Adventures.

The rides have been designed with toddlers and preschoolers in mind, the themed land is immersive and the chance to meet favourite characters makes it extra special for little fans. Combined with the zoo, SEA LIFE aquarium, family-friendly hotels and plenty of attractions for younger children across the rest of the park, it’s easy to see why Chessington remains a favourite UK family day out.

We hope this PAW Patrol Chessington guide helps you make the most of your visit!

I need to know what you people are thinking when you turn around 50 times giving us evil looks, or when you have the audacity to actually tap me 😆😭 I can tell him to be quiet 1000 times and he will just get louder, trust me, I’ve tried it 😂

I regret not asking the lady, I’ll lose sleep about it for the next 10 years I’m sure - I pray she might see this and let me know 🤣
