Petty crimes like pickpocketing and scams (especially involving unofficial guides or aggressive sales tactics) can occur, particularly in crowded markets and tourist hotspots.

• Politely decline overly persistent offers from street vendors or unofficial guides.

• Keep valuables secure and avoid flashing expensive items.
