Car Free Eurocamp Holidays – The Ultimate Guide 2026

If you’re looking for a family holiday that offers plenty to keep the children entertained, but with more freedom than a traditional hotel, Eurocamp is well worth considering. Eurocamp holidays are based at family-friendly holiday parks across Europe, with accommodation ranging from comfortable mobile homes to spacious lodges. Many parcs have huge swimming pools, exciting waterparks, children’s clubs, restaurants, sports facilities and evening entertainment, making it easy to spend your whole holiday on site if you want to.

While lots of families choose to hire a car, it isn’t the only way to enjoy a Eurocamp holiday. There are plenty of options if you’re looking for a car free Eurocamp break, with some parcs just a short transfer from the airport and others well connected by train or public transport. Once you arrive, many have everything you need within walking distance, so you can settle in and enjoy your holiday without worrying about driving abroad.

In this guide, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite Eurocamp parcs that are easy to reach without hiring a car. We’ll explain how to get there, what’s nearby and why each one is a great choice for families.

Is a Car Free Eurocamp Holiday Right for Your Family?

A car free Eurocamp holiday can be a fantastic option if you’re planning to spend most of your time enjoying everything the parc has to offer. Many Eurocamp parcs are like small resorts, with multiple pools, restaurants, shops, playgrounds and entertainment all in one place. Some are also within walking distance of beaches, lakes or local towns, giving you plenty to explore without needing your own transport.

It’s worth remembering that every parc is different. Some are just a short taxi ride from the airport, while others may require a train journey or local bus before you arrive. Before booking, it’s always worth checking how you’ll reach the parc and whether you’ll be happy relying on public transport for any trips during your stay. If you’re hoping to explore lots of different towns and attractions every day, hiring a car may still be the better option. However, if you’re looking for a relaxing family holiday where everything is close by, a car free Eurocamp holiday could be exactly what you’re looking for.

France has some fantastic options if you’re looking for a car free Eurocamp holiday. Whether you’d prefer a beach resort on the Mediterranean coast, a family parc close to Disneyland Paris or somewhere surrounded by beautiful countryside, there are plenty of parks that are easy to reach without hiring a car.

Things to Consider Before Booking a Car Free Eurocamp Holiday

Before choosing a car free Eurocamp holiday, there are a few things we’d recommend checking:

Transfer times can vary quite a bit between parcs. Some are less than 20 minutes from the airport, while others may involve a longer train or taxi journey. If you’re travelling with young children after an early morning flight, a shorter transfer can make all the difference.

It’s also worth looking at what’s within walking distance of the parc. Some have supermarkets, beaches, restaurants and local attractions nearby, while others are much more self-contained. If you’re planning to stay on site for most of your holiday, that might not matter, but it’s worth knowing before you book.

Finally, think about your arrival and departure times. Public transport can be less frequent in the evenings or on Sundays in some destinations, so it’s always worth checking that your flights line up with your transfer options.

I hope you have found this round up of easy to get to Eurcoamps helpful. If you want to view other Eurocamp destinations you can by hitting the yellow button below.

As a family, what do you value most when it comes to a hotel - the luxurious feel and stylish look or it having the right facilities for your kids?

This was a PR visit to explore an area of Cyprus we have always been nervous to visit. Cyprus Paradise are experts in this area and having the flights, transfers and their knowledge makes the trip easy.

If you want to read more about this part of the world, learn about its difficult history, know more about our holiday or get the links for these hotels, comment HOTELS and I’ll send you what you need ❤️ I’ve also put a blog post in my linktree with more details.

PortAventura World is a fab theme park in Salou, Spain. I’ve said it’s a great option for big kids given the rollercoasters and higher height requirements - but our two little ones also had a great time there! I have a blog post about our experience where I have listed things that the little ones could do. I posted yesterday about Billund in Denmark, which I think would be a better trip with small children.

We’ve put a post together with Jet2holidays that include PortAventura tickets. Comment HOTELS and I’ll send you the link and the blog post about our time there 💛
